A: I split my time between Brooklyn and West Hurley, NY

Q: Will you travel somewhere to work with us?

A: Sure! I like other places, and am happy to work in the studio of your choice for tracking or overdubs. For mixing, I generally prefer one of the two studios I know the best: Spillway Sound in the Catskills or Figure 8 Recording in Brooklyn.

Q: What are your rates?

A: My daily engineering rate is $600. Day rate at Spillway Sound is $750 including my rate, the studio, and lodging for up to 4 people. Hourly work is billed at $85/hour. Clients are also responsible for my travel and accommodations if the session is out of the NYC or Catskills area. For production packages and unattended (remote) mixing, it varies depending on the project, so contact me to discuss your situation.

Q: Do you produce, engineer, and mix?

A: Yes. I also play bass (electric/upright) and EVI, make crazy sounds on modular synthesizers, and arrange parts (horns, strings, etc.). In addition, I read music, which helps a lot in case you need me to follow along with scores or written parts.
